Keith Weiss CFP®

Financial guidance for high-income professionals who are building wealth—and starting to think about what comes next.

I’m Keith Weiss, CFP®, a fee-only financial planner. I work with individuals and families who have done well financially and want to get organized, make smarter decisions, and begin shaping a path toward financial independence and an optional retirement and begin shaping a path toward financial independence and an optional retirement—with clarity around the decisions that matter most.

As a CFP® professional and fee-only advisor, my focus is on providing objective guidance aligned with your best interests.

Many of my clients are navigating this same transition—from building wealth to making more intentional decisions about how to use it.

The questions start to change:
“Am I saving enough?”
becomes
“What is all of this for?”

And more specifically:

  • When does work become optional?
  • Am I making the right trade-offs between saving and actually enjoying life?
  • How do I make better decisions around taxes, investments, and long-term planning?
  • Value clarity, organization, and having a long-term advisor relationship

That’s where I come in—helping you bring clarity, structure, and direction to those decisions—so you can move forward with confidence.

I work best with individuals and families who:

  • Are high-income earners or business owners in their 40s–50s
  • Have accumulated $500k–$5M+ (or are on a clear path toward it)
  • Want to get organized and make more intentional financial decisions
  • Are beginning to think about financial independence or early retirement
  • Prefer to delegate and have an ongoing advisor relationship
  • Are looking for an ongoing advisory relationship—not a one-time plan

I work with clients across New York and Connecticut, with many based in Putnam, Westchester, and Fairfield counties.

For clients in Ridgefield, Danbury, Wilton, and surrounding areas, I offer both virtual and in-person meetings, including availability in Danbury.

At the core of my approach is helping clients achieve a strong Return on Life—using their financial resources to create flexibility, time, and meaningful experiences.

For many clients, this means shifting from simply accumulating more to understanding how much is enough—and what that allows you to do.

Financial planning is not a one-time exercise. As your life evolves, your decisions, priorities, and opportunities change as well.

My role is to serve as an ongoing partner—helping you think through important decisions, adjust your strategy, and move forward with clarity and confidence as your life evolves. forward with clarity and confidence over time.

This often gives clients permission to start enjoying what they’ve built—without second-guessing every decision.

How I Help Clients

My work focuses on helping clients navigate important financial decisions, including:

  • Creating a clear path toward financial independence
  • Evaluating when work becomes optional
  • Structuring investments to support long-term goals
  • Investment oversight tied to planning
  • Aligning your investment strategy with your long-term plan and risk tolerance
  • Coordinating tax strategy with investment and income decisions
  • Bringing organization and clarity to an increasingly complex financial life
  • You are looking for an ongoing relationship, not a one-time plan

This isn’t about chasing returns—it’s about making thoughtful, informed decisions that support your life over time.

If you’re starting to think about what comes next, this is where structured guidance can make a meaningful difference.

Personal Bio

I’m based in the Ridgefield area, where I live with my family. My own experiences have shaped how I think about money—not just as something to accumulate, but as a tool to support a meaningful life.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, and making the most of the time we have together.

That perspective carries into my work with clients—helping them align their financial decisions with what matters most.
